Hi, this is Dongyoon Kim! The creator of the GSKI website and one of the leaders. As you can see on my “Actions” page, I have been participating in a voluntary activity where I got to help people with blindness play soccer. This has been a great opportunity to share my passion for soccer with others. So, I invite others to participate in this activity with me!

What might you be part of during this activity:

  • Becoming someone who guides people with blindness: As people with blindness can not notice how far apart they are from a specific place, there should be someone who provides guidance. You must tell the people how far they are from the goal line.
  • Goalkeeper: Your job is to block the other team from scoring the goal. When you possess the ball, you should throw it to your teammate without taking too long.
  • Being an outfield player: You might get the opportunity to be an outfield player and play soccer with other people with blindness by wearing an eye patch.

If you are willing to participate in this activity, please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/FrfpbFqDPHpsptyQ9

Past GSKI Competition

GSKI has recently opened a competition where passionate soccer players could submit videos of themselves displaying their soccer skills. Below are videos of people who wanted to share their submissions on this website. GSKI will continue striving to create the kind of connection this competition could have formed in several ways. Thank you!

This GSKI competition had a form where people who were willing to participate could share some of their highlight videos or videos of themselves practicing soccer. Based on the videos and the participants’ answers to the form, we chose the winner of this competition.

“Allen Kim” was chosen to be the winner of this competition, and as we have mentioned in the competition guidelines, we will provide him with a soccer shoe that is within the budget of 250,000 won. Thank you to everyone who completed the form and shared your talent and passion!
